Billu Barber, Sharukh Khan’s home production and directed by Priyadarshan hit the Box Office with an Average Opening in big cities on its first day. It is believed that the turnout was higher in smaller towns.
The movie did an average occupancy of about 40% in the first shows which marginally went up in the evening shows. If Billu Barber fails to collect 75% in the opening week, it is quite likely that the movie will have t0 be a part of the Flop Movies list of 2009. The first week is very important for Billu Barber because of the launch of Dilli 6 on the coming weekend. Its unlikely that people would want to watch Billu when they have an option of a new Bollywood movie and that too Dilli 6.
The reviews have come out good and we hope the movie does well. However, SRK is not bothered as he has already sold the rights to Eros.
